....another day of trying to rally back on my feet... double douse  of vitamins and a boost of B vitamins with plenty of protein...kick those back with a glass of chocolate soy milk and we're good to go.( hopefully)... Of course I didn't sleep well with CD being in new Bern and I had to get up before 6:00 to see if Christopher felt he could do basketball practice.  His ankle still is weak and so no pre tournie this weekend.  You can tell he is disappointed...

...I had a very ncie suprise from my friend Mary Jo in Palm Springs.  Se had made a beautiful girlie pin cushion for me we lots of beads and charms... I was so excited because it was just a " I know you miss your sweetie and you have 4 boys and need something girlie" sort of gift. 

...the big thing I did today was sort Christmas things...what a disaster... not sure how the nativity set took a hit this year but Joseph was decapitated and mary had lost her hands... throw in a donkey without an ear and a footless sheep... I about was SICK tossing them . I sorted a box for Josh of ornaments and such .  I'll probaly do one for Heather and Jeremy too.

...I finished 16 more rows on jamie's graphghan.  This will really be the thorn in my side project for Christmas I can tell...

...I spent most of the afternoon trying to master the bullion, or roll stitch.  Fortunately a Ville friend clued me in on annie's attic sale on special hooks for the stitch...Of COURSE I had to buy them...the hooks were 2.99 for 3 so that was a small crochet purchase.

...My friend Sherry in PA. sent an email that her daughters cancer had returned  in her knee. This time it wasn't on the bone because her knee is a metal plate, but in the tissue and they are going back to the onocologist to set a course of action.  If you think about her pray, or take a second now and stand in the gap.

....seems like a good time to begin rereading my irving Stone books.... get lost in a bit of history... appreciate the fact I'll be able to take the holidays at lesiure instead of a scramble...

.....before I read I must watch my new favorite show which I am too embarassed to post in public....we all have our secrets...
